About MVP Lanes

Mark Johnston announced a complete renovation of Wayne Recreation and Cosmic Bowling at 3810 Lake Avenue, off Coliseum Boulevard. Mark is not new to enriching our community with bowling.  Several years ago, Mark rebuilt Little Turtle/Hillcrest Lanes which is now known as Thunderbowl #1.

The building, which was originally constructed in 1970 as a Brunswick Bowling franchise facility, has been stripped to its bones and rebuilt from the ground up.  The new center will now be known as MVP Lanes. MVP Lanes looks forward, not only to breathing new life into a vacant building, but also to a game many people have missed during this pandemic. In addition, MVP will also welcome back dart leagues.  

MVP Lanes’ team is headed by General Managing Partner, Austin Brunner (AJ). AJ brings his native Fort Wayne knowledge, bowling industry insight, expert customer service know-how, and food & beverage experience, to make MVP Lanes THE bowler’s bowling alley.
